General Conditions of Sale

1. Definitions
In these conditions 'the company' means Sharps Global Trading Ltd and 'the customer' means the person or company to whom this document is addressed.

2. Conditions

These conditions shall form the basis of the contact between the company and the customer. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the customer's standard conditions of purchase, these conditions shall apply except so far as expressly agreed in writing by the head office of the company. No servant or agent of the company has power to vary these conditions orally or to make representations or promises about the condition of the goods, their fitness for any purpose or any other matter whatsoever.

3. Order Acceptance

Goods are not sold on sale or return or exchange basis.

4. Delivery
Orders received before 4pm will dispatched the next day for following day delivery.
Orders placed are for delivery within the UK mainland only. If you require a delivery for Northern Ireland, The Isle Of Man or any of the off sure Islands in Scotland we would need to be contacted so that the additional delivery costs could be calculated. Please refer to our contact us section to be able to do this before placing any orders.
Goods will be sent by Royal Mail or DHL depending on size of your order. The company accepts no liability for late deliveries by these companies.

5. Guarantee


In the unlikely event of this appliance proving defective it is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover damages caused by misuse, neglect or accident.

Should this product become defective during the warranty period, return the product in its original packaging together with your proof of purchase and contact details to:

This guarantee in no way affects your rights under the statutory law in the UK.

6. Government Taxes or Levies
Any variation to prices quoted as a result of government taxes and levies will be for the customer's account. Prices include VAT @17.5%

7. Terms of Sale
The customer shall make payment in full prior to delivery. The ownership of materials delivered by the company shall only be transferred to the customer when full payment including delivery charges are made. The risk of accidental deterioration or destruction shall pass on delivery and the customer shall insure against such risk. The customer shall pay all accounts in full and not exercise any rights of set-off or counter-claim against invoices submitted.

9. English law shall be the proper law of the contract.


10. Free Mini Straightner promotion not valid on other promotions/sale items


The following terms and conditions cover the situations where either (a) the goods are received as faulty or damaged or (b) you change your mind and wish to return non-faulty goods. 

The goods are faulty or damaged, or there is a shortfall, on delivery

  1. Where goods are received by you as faulty or damaged then we must be notified within 7 days of receipt in order for replacement goods to be sent free of charge. No claim will be accepted outside this time limit. Any re-delivery is subject to the safe return of any faulty or damaged goods.
  2. All goods are returned to us at your risk.
  3. Other than as set out above we accept no liability in relation to faulty or damaged goods. In no event shall our liability exceed the value of the goods in question.

Returns of non-faulty goods


Private (ie non business) UK customers have certain cancellation rights under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 (“the Regulations”). For full details the Regulations should be consulted, but in summary:

              i.        The right to cancel must be exercised on or before the end of the seventh (7) working day following the day after delivery of the goods;

             ii.        Notification of the wish to exercise the right to cancel must be received by us as set out in (i) above at either our address set out below or by e-mail to: info@kokou.co.uk;

            iii.        Customers wishing to return non-faulty goods must also arrange to return the goods in a saleable condition (including undamaged packaging) at the address referred to in (ii) above as soon as possible. Regrettably we are unable to cover the postage costs of returns. The goods will be deemed returned when actually received by us.

            iv.        If you are returning a purchase that came with a ‘gift’ this must also be returned.

             v.        We highly recommend that you use a registered and insured delivery service as we do not accept any responsibility for lost or damaged returns. This type of service will also allow you to track your package and ensure its safe return as we cannot issue a refund for lost or damaged items.

            vi.        Pending return of the goods to us you must keep them in good condition

           vii.        On compliance with the above customers will be entitled to a full refund of the price paid (only standard delivery costs will be refunded), to their account or the credit card used (less any deductions in accordance with the foregoing).

          viii.        Certain goods cannot be returned e.g. goods made to the customer’s own specification or perishable goods.
